O Instituto Protea atua desde 2018 ajudando a aumentar o número de vagas para atendimento de pacientes com câncer de mama atendidas pelo SUS. O Protea não escolhe as pacientes que terão seus tratamentos custeados pelo Instituto.
Impacto real
Mais de 4 mil mulheres já foram atendidas desde o início de nossas atividades, com mais de 3.800 consultas realizadas e 86.000 sessões de radioterapia e quimioterapia.
Resultados auditados
O Protea é auditado pela KPMG desde a sua fundação. Emitimos anualmente um relatório de atividades e os resultados financeiros com o destino de todos os recursos arrecadados com empresas e indivíduos.

Publicity
The company promotes its brand through Protea's work and attracts more followers to the Institute's social media channels, thereby gaining the trust of future donors who will help Protea fund breast cancer treatments.

Donation of resources
The company creates a product or promotes the sale of one (or more) of its products and allocates part of the revenue to the Protea Institute. The company may also decide to donate the resources without creating a specific product campaign.

Awareness
The company invites Protea to hold lectures and internal campaigns (together with HR, Marketing, or Social Responsibility) to explain breast cancer and ways of early detection and prevention to its employees and/or stakeholders.

Bring your idea
We are open to any partnership that helps reduce the waiting list for breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Companies can become partners of the Protea Institute, helping to pay for breast cancer exams, consultations, and treatments. The actions are developed jointly, based on ideas from the company's Protea Team. Donations from part of the sales of product lines, development of exclusive products, lectures, competitions, sporting events, or purchase of Protea-branded products. Below are some success stories.
Pão de Açúcar Supermarket Chain - 100% of the profits from Amitié sparkling wines sold were donated to Protea, with a wide-reaching media campaign.
CIMED Partnership - A portion of the sales of Dermafeme intimate soap was donated to Protea. CIMED included the Protea brand on Dermafeme packaging, raising awareness of the work of the Protea Institute.
Partnership with Sal Cisne, which for the first time in 50 years changed the color of its salt shakers from white to pink and also paid tribute to breast cancer patients undergoing treatment with images of characters without hair. Part of the proceeds from the sale of the salt shakers is donated to Protea.
Every year, the Wickbold bread brand chooses one of its loaves to promote Protea's work, applying the logo to its communications. In addition, part of the product's sales are donated to Protea.
Every year, the TROUSSEAU chain of luxury home goods stores develops a range of products, donating part of the sales during October to Protea.
The Protea candle—developed and sold by women's fashion brand LE LIS—generates 100% of its profits for Protea. LE LIS also develops other products that donate to Protea throughout the year.
JCDecaux promotes the Protea Institute at various OOH locations throughout Brazil.
Alpargatas, owner of the Havaianas brand, created a pin featuring the flower symbol of the Protea Institute, donating 100% of the profits to Protea.
