It accounts for around 30% of all cancer cases in women*.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8480e32 elementor-widget of 30 days to carry out tests to prove cancer diagnosis after medical referral (Law 13.896 was published in the Federal Official Gazette on 10\/31\/2019, and is already in effect).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ea0cf37 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ea0cf37\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The first oncologic treatment through the SUS must begin within 60 days from the signing of the pathology report or within a shorter period depending on the treatment needs of the case recorded in the patient\u2019s medical record (Law 12.732\/12).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-19ce6d5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"19ce6d5\" --e-global-color-55ae41e );\">Workers suffering from cancer or who have a dependent with the medical condition, while in the symptomatic phase of the disease, can withdraw the Brazilian Government Severance Indemnity Fund for Employees (FGTS) (Law 8.922, 1994).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6d30bd0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6d30bd0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Workers suffering from cancer or who have a dependent with the medical condition, while in the symptomatic phase of the disease, can withdraw the PIS\/Pasep (Resolution 1, of 10\/15\/1996 - PIS\/Pasep Social Contribution Fund Board).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f877569 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f877569\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Those with cancer are entitled to Income Tax Exemption regarding Retirement, Pension and Military Retirement income, including the complements received from private entities and alimony (Law 7.713, 1988).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bbfc100 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bbfc100\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Those with cancer have the right to priority in pending proceedings, both legal and administrative, provided that they present proof of their condition (medical report) to the competent legal or administrative authority to decide on the procedure and the steps to be taken (Federal Law 12.008, of July 29, 2009).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-1788319\" data-id=\"1788319\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-32e0f57 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"32e0f57\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Those with cancer are entitled to Sick Pay, provided they are insured, when they are temporarily unable to work due to medical condition, for more than 15 consecutive days (Law 8.213, of 1991, articles 59 to 63).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0353e78 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0353e78\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Those with cancer are entitled to exemption from urban public transportation fares (check the general rules of each city).
